    Speaker Biographies:

    Jessica Roe

    Ms. Roe’s practice focuses on employment advice, litigation (employment and general business) and labor law. In the employment arena, she provides strategic advice regarding the establishment of employment policies and procedures and counsels clients on the creation, maintenance and termination of employment relationships, investigations and managing all aspects of the employment relationship.


    When the employment relationship must end, she assists clients in understanding their obligations with respect to issues such as severance, state and federal employment statutes, and non-competition agreements. If matters cannot be resolved, she is highly experienced in representing clients in federal or state courts across the country on employment and complex civil and commercial disputes. In the labor arena, Ms. Roe has also represented companies with the NLRB in labor disputes, arbitrations and contract negotiations.


    Ms. Roe is a Minnesota State Bar Association Board Certified Labor and Employment Law Specialist. She also is a certified mediator and arbitrator for resolutions outside the court system. Ms. Roe speaks extensively on employment law and litigation topics and leads multiple seminars each year.

    Pete Reinhardt

    Peter Reinhardt is an administrative law judge with the State of Wisconsin, Department of Workforce Development, Equal Rights Division. As an administrative law judge, he handles mediations of cases filed under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act and holds evidentiary hearings to decide liability and damages in cases filed under the Wisconsin Fair Employment Act.  

    Mr. Reinhardt graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School, cum laude, in 1990. For 31 years, Mr. Reinhardt was a trial lawyer in private practice handling court and jury trials before administrative agencies and in state court and federal court. While in private practice, Mr. Reinhardt focused on commercial  litigation and employment litigation. He was selected as a Wisconsin Super Lawyer in employment law on multiple occasions.   
     

    Tom Revnew

    An experienced litigator with more than two decades of experience, Thomas R. Revnew represents employers in connection with the full range of employment and labor law issues. He regularly defends clients in state and federal courts, and before administrative agencies. He has represented employers in a wide range of matters, including drug testing; OSHA compliance; unfair competition and trade secrets; wage and hour compliance; and against claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation and wrongful discharge.

    Tom also has a robust traditional labor practice, including representing clients in the construction industry, and advises on matters arising under the National Labor Relations Act, defends unfair labor practice charges and negotiates collective bargaining agreements.

    Tom works with employers to avoid costly and time consuming litigation by providing counseling regarding hiring, discipline, discharge, reduction in force planning and programs, contract review and drafting, drug testing, privacy issues, OSHA compliance, the Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, personnel policies, employee handbooks and other employment matters.

    He frequently speaks on various labor and employment law topics. During his practice, Tom has conducted hundreds of training programs on behalf of clients, trade associations and various other organizations, both locally and nationally.
