Saint Croix Valley Employers Association Presents:

Medical Leaves of Absences: Legal Risks and Controlling Workers Compensation Costs

Join the Saint Croix Valley Employers Association on Wednesday, Jan. 16 from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. for a seminar on Medical Leaves of Absences: Legal Risks and Controlling Workers Compensation Costs.

Common questions that arise when handling an employee’s medical leave of absence include: how do we handle absences that are a result of a work related injury? When should we offer a light duty position? How long should an employee work on light duty?

This seminar will provide guidance and answers to these questions along with an overview of the legal risks employers face when managing employees’ medical leaves of absence. During this program, we will discuss methods employers can follow to effectively manage injuries and control costs. We will also provide examples of policies and programs that can significantly impact a company’s bottom line.
